This was from the 2007 series ‘Glitter Modern’ which was an early iteration of using glitter to play with surface tensions. As an explorative work the painting interrogates form moving between different yet parallel planes, thin stripes of paint carry the viewer through the work in a contemplative moment of form, shape, reflection and light.
